Spirit of the Bitch, aka Whore Ghost

The Spirit of the Bitch is coming together! Nearly got the thing back together after some mild rework to get it going for the Pismo ride. I wasn't planning on going, but have decided that it's just what I need right now, so here she is in all her newfound glory. Puttin another seat on there, but you get the idea for what will be on the road this coming week. Hoping I can get paint laid, but not sure if that's going to happen... Still have to lace up the new 21 since this one's warped and runs about as true as a retard chasing candy. Trim that fender, weld some bungs for the tank and a few other odds 'n ends and she's a runner!

On the border...

Yeah America, there's no issues with the border along Mexico. None at all. Move along, nothing to see here. Just be good people and vote to keep America the bastion of douchebags and drug lords.

FOX reports on American killed in "pirate" action along Texas/Mexico border lake.

This has got to stop. People keep telling me how wonderful all the illegal immigrants are and how they do the jobs Americans don't want to do. Blah, blah, blah. They do the jobs that American business owners don't want to pay proper wages for. Period. The border with Mexico has always had a dicey side with the regions south controlled by drug cartels and used as a means for mules to cross over with their loads. Period. Yeah there are good people on both sides, but when you have a country who's people (whether they are people the government allies themselves with or not) cross borders into another country and kill, rape and pillage, that's called an act of war.

This man was most likely killed on the Mexican side of the lake, but don't go using that as protection against what I'm saying. If people were being murdered and robbed this often when crossing or near the Canadian border, we'd be throwing a shit fit. Trust me. The politics go deeper than you can imagine where Mexico is concerned. If they don't get their shit together on their side and start working to fix this crap, I say we just go take them over and call it a day.

By the way, did anyone notice the lack of news on the fact that Mexico is building a wall along their southern border to keep out the unwanted immigrants? Of course not. Then you'd actually see what we're dealing with here. Wise up.

Less PC and more Free.

Just Like Peanut Butter...

If you don't like something these days, get a group of people together and start a "coalition". It'll do wonders toward making your "community" a safer place. Loud pipe issues have always been around, and I agree that some douchebags on their billet barges like to have loud for the sake of annoyance, but the rest of us truly don't want to piss off the neighbors. People I know, myself included, push our bikes blocks in the morning just to make sure we don't piss anyone off at 4am when we are leaving for a run. I coast in at night and turn motors off and push if need be to do the same coming home. While I'm on the freeway, you can bet your ass I wind it tight through traffic to let 'em know I'm coming. If any of these self-righteous anti-noise pricks could ride and did in traffic, they'd quit their bitchin instantly. Anyway, check this shit out and see if it don't make you mad with their smarmy use of language and sarcastic tone...

Are you F'ing Kidding Me???

I'm just about over this country of ours... Reading in the news today that there is a national committee that overseas the nutrition in schools and they are actually looking at the possibility of banning peanut butter! All this due to the fact that some parents that have kids with peanut allergies are saying that a "wayward" sandwich could kill their kid. Really? Your kid with allergies that he/she knows about and should be educated on the ramifications of would go and eat another kid's PB&J??

I say F 'em. That's called natural selection. I know I shouldn't jump off the cliff, but I do anyway. Then form a freakin' committee to make sure we ban all cliffs. I get it. It gives stupid people something to do. It allows politicians to tell their constituency that they are "looking out for them", when in reality they are simply taking vacations and waiting on their pensions to kick in. Whatever.

Peanut butter for cryin' out loud. So look for the gestapo to be kicking your child out of school for bringing delicious PB&J to school. Tell them to keep it right next to the gun and cell phone in their clear backpack, so the po-po can find it easier.

Less Political Correctness people and more living.

Enough is Enough...

I'm outta here for a while. There's too much going on and too much to do that requires real concentration to be updating this thing very much. You can see that I've been slacking anyhow, so this shouldn't come as a surprise. There's two pans, a knuck, a shovel, a sporty, a customer bike, a paint rig, a bunch of new parts, tons of tattooing practice, shows galore and endless other crap to get done. I'll be galloping around the country this month and next too, so for anyone who follows this shit, just drop me a line and maybe we can link up in your town!

As usual, I'll still be updating the EC sites, but for now, I'll just leave you with some eye-candy to remember me by!

See ya on the flip side!

I swear...

It wasn't me! Ok, maybe it was, but I have no recollections of the events in question! Twine ball goodness! This thing was huge. Really. Twine Ball was a great, grass-roots event that you should make sure to check out if they do it again next year. The heartland of America is definitely the place for some good ol' tom-foolery and drunken greatness. Just give yourself more time to get there so you don't wind up dead to the world before it starts!

Whaddya mean I gotta go someplace else??

Hurtin' from the drive in. 28 hours non-stop.

Bill feeling the pain side of "no pain no gain".

On the road to the ball!

Jeremy made Dan his bitch!

Thanks to all that made it out to suppor the event! Was a great time and hope to see you all out there again next year!

Bearded Lady...

The fine folks in and around MN had a hoot this weekend at the Bearded Lady Freakshow. Looks like a good time, and one we'll have to attend the next go-round if at all possible. I mean, any spot with great bikes, cars and tattooed, baby pigs in embalming fluid for trophies has to be a blast right? Yeah!

Some of the highlights that I stole...

Best trophy ever.

I wonder if this was best of show?

Fuggin hell...

Here you go world. Welcome to the dark side. Now you can all be as tough as that one kid that does that stuff with the things... and stuff. Yeah.

Sometimes you just gotta stand up!

Even when you have a comfy seat. Period. GV trip. Good times.

Outta here!

Not quite, but almost anyways. Gotta tidy up a dozen or so things on the bike, then I'm off to OC to pick up the OL, then off to Duarte at the buttcrack of dawn and then to Big Sur for shenanigans and camping, then off to Grass Valley for continuing shenanigans and more sleeping in dirt. Then if we're still alive, we'll come home. There's still time to pack your stuff and join in!

Off it goes...

Well, another is out of the stable for the time being. I loaded up the '65 pan and handed it off to Rico over at Hi-Bond Modified to have a look-see. After peeking in the spark holes, there doesn't look to be any top-end damage. A little accumulation on the exhaust valve on rear head, but nothing noticeable other than that. It's in Rico's more-than-capable hands now and I'm hoping it's just a freakin' kicker gear or other tranny problem at this point. Crossin' fingers.

And I thought I was just gonna put the new shaved legs Wompy did for me on there and blast up to Grass Valley. Silly me.

Good stuff to go do!

I just tossed this up on the EC blog too. Last year we had a ton of fun and made a bunch of new friends too! This year will be hard to miss with the lineup they are having and knowing what kind of gig they throw. That said, you have to go and make up for my absence. That's an order. Do it now!

Another good and scary one...

If this is your mom, I'm sorry. Don't kill the messenger.

Knees in the... uh... breeze?

Whatever. Cool pic. Better disconnect that chain before take off though... just sayin'.

Happy Independence Weekend!

Remember this weekend is not about what fireworks you buy, or how much you can drink and not pass out. It's not about cookouts, and BBQ. It's not about family and friends. It's not even about remembering the fallen who fought for our freedoms. All of those are good and some of those are great, but this weekend is about being more than just great. It's about what's to come, not what's gone by. It's about what's happening right now around you in the world close to home. It's about standing up and making change for all of us.

We are in a position where the government today is worse in it's tyranny than that of the regime the founding fathers broke away from. Our freedoms are no longer our own and are bought and sold on open markets to the highest bidders regardless of our take on it.

THIS COUNTRY IS IN A STATE OF FINANCIAL RUIN UNLIKE ANYTHING EVER SEEN. Don't believe me? The US is on the verge of not being able to service the INTEREST PAYMENTS on its debt. We are fast approaching a point where that interest will be so great on a monthly basis that we can't ever even hope to pay the principal. Ever. Think about that. How long can that work? Do you think all the foreign and domestic interest that owns the notes to the US debt is going to just say, "OK, no sweat, we'll forgive the total..."? No way. We will lose control completely. Public services will shut down. Government employees will be let go in droves. You want scary end-of-the-world type shit? It's not about atomic bombs and virus outbreaks. It's about money. Period.

"Free Market" thought process abused by swindlers and power-mongers has brought us to a precipice and most of those around you and maybe you yourself don't seem to give a rat's ass. Everyone's too busy trying to make the rent money or pay the medical bills or the credit card bill or buy that new fancy thingamajig that they're just sure will make life better.

You know what will make life better? Getting off your ass and showing the power-mongers that we won't sit by while they sell America down the river for their own profit. We won't sit by while America becomes some Politically Correct bastion of complacency. We won't sit by while foreign interest infests our country like a virus and pays no heed to the rules that opened the doors for them in the first place. Stop wondering how one person can make a difference and go out and make a difference. How? Stop buying shit on credit. I don't give a rat's ass if you think you need it or not. If you're in a position where you have to use a credit card to survive, you are dying a slow death already and taking the country with you. Fix it. Suck it up and find a way to get your life to a place where no one holds the strings but you. If you have to live with your parents or 3 of your friends to do it, do it! It doesn't happen quickly, but small steps starting now, will gain you much more freedom quicker than you can imagine. Stop sitting idly by while our country and it's founding ideals wash down the drain while government chalks it up to "global economy" or some crap. Stop thinking that being American entitles you to all the coolest shit on the planet. Stop thinking you deserve anything. You don't. I don't. We get what we build for ourselves as individuals and communities. If you don't have a way to pay for something with money you actually have, then you don't need it. Period.

In the days of old, banks loaned based on what they held in people's deposit money. A rule of thumb was that they could loan out approximately 90% of money in the vault, assuming that no more than 10% of us would come ask for our money at any given time. If they loaned more than they had, they could not service their customers and they failed.

Today, the right to print money does not belong to the US. Realize that the Federal Reserve is not part of the government. It is a private organization. Did you know that? They don't want you to. They can print money whenever they want. Creating inflation or deflation as they please. They allow the banks to simply write up their balances in order to loan more money than they actually have in reserve. There are no reserves any longer. Just ledger adjustments. They don't have real money to back what they loan you. I call that fraud. Period. There are not enough dollars being made and deposited by the citizens or businesses into banks to create these loans, so who's actually going to pay them back?? This system creates a kill-or-be-killed mentality that has us all chasing too few dollars to pay back loans that were fraudulent to begin with. There was no actual principal to loan, yet they make interest on us. Hmmmm.

What do you imagine would happen if a group representing 10% of deposit value walked into the bank tomorrow and asked to close our accounts and take the cash? THE BANKS COULD NOT SUPPORT THE AMOUNT AND THE ENTIRE BANKING INDUSTRY WOULD COLLAPSE. In one day. Imagine that. If the fed simply decided to print enough money to service the request for cash, they'd show the flaw in the system. You want to talk about revolt? Tell America they can't have their money. And that's only 10%. Imagine if we all did this.

Imagine the reform that would be forced on our government if we could show that type of solidarity amongst the people. Forget race, color, creed, religion or any other divisive bullshit for just one day and think of what we could do. ONE DAY. One simple set of actions.

What if the entire country DIDN'T vote? If we held back our tax money? Just imagine all the things that we could NOT do to create change. We are the oil and the force that turns this machine. The government assumes we'll just keep on keeping on. What if we stop?

Yell at me and call me what you will, but I'm dead serious. The actions don't have to be so cataclysmic, but they need to happen. One people for One day. Imagine what we could do. Imagine if our forefathers DIDN'T do it. Imagine that for a minute.

So remember that this 4th of July and remember who really holds the power. There is no power other than that of the people, because the people are what is real. Remember what independence means and ask yourself if you are truly independent.

Distance Therapy...

Well, due to some dramatic changes that are on the horizon, it appears that I'll have a good amount of time to do some things I've been meaning to get to. I've got a mind to head up to Sonora for the GV Roll-in a couple weeks away and then I'm going to come back to SoCal and get ready to jaunt out for pretty much the whole month of August and some of September. Never thought I'd find time or ability to get out like this, but hey, sometimes even the worst situations can provide some incentive for good shit. That's what this is... good shit. August will be the Bastard Bash, Rumblers show in Brooklyn, and the Gypsy Run! Probably only able to hit 2, since the bash and the NY gig happen the same weekend more than a few states apart, but oh well. Gotta figure out a way to be mobile that long and not shirk my responsibilities back here, but I'll get it done. I got a passenger seat open if there's anyone out there who wants to reevaluate life with me, one mile marker at a time. The murder van awaits, a motorcycle and bed roll will fit, and I'm shooting for the horizon!

On it!

Well, pops and I get back from the trip to Colorado, and I immediately tear into the pan. '65 is a dream so far. Little lag on the timing, so I'll take a peek at that when I am more lucid, but got the fender off, stuck the Z bars I had lying around on there and took her around the block for some fun. Need to make some mid-mounts. Think about those tanks... they're big, but they will do well for the Grass valley trip for sure. Might be good to leave 'em alone for now. Did I mention mid-mounts? Need me some of those and then some new cables. Check all the mounts and bracketry. Make some new foam for that seat. A few things here and there and she'll be ready to roll!

From this -

To this. Nothing earth-shaking, but nicer to ride and look at for sure. Need some cables that are a couple miles shorter though...

Went lookin for a shovel...

... And also found a pan! Thanks to Generous Gene in Colorado Springs
and his amazing 65, I've now got a pair in tow. Good shit on a good
trip!

So ready for emo vampire crap to die...

Seriously. Go cut yourself the right way and get it over with. Every generation has its gayness that you have to pretend to love to impress chicks I guess. Sorry for the douchebags that have to like this dribble in order to get laid. Although judging from the fashion norm out here in Cali, I don't think most of the emo boys have too hard a time enjoying fag vampires. Duran Duran was more manly than this garbage for sure.

Funny shit...

Not too many words needed here...

Maneater or eating man?

You decide...

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a naked crotch. But at least this one is artistically inclined rather than just a gratuitous vag shot or something. Get with the program! There's no denying that's some crazy shit right there.
