Yet so far! The US made it to the gold, but saw it slip away to Canada 3-2 after about 7 minutes into overtime. Great game, with some amazing turns. The US tied it up with only 24 seconds left in the game and I thought they had it! Great run though, wouldn't have thought it possible a few years ago. Best US effort since the Miracle in my opinion!

Keeping up the tradition...

Of no motorcycle posts in a while! I'm psyched on the USA hockey team right now, so just deal with it. The boys beat Finland to advance to the finals against Canaduh! The game against the Finns ended before it even got started pretty much... USA scored 6 goals in the first 7 minutes. You don't come back from that.

As for the rematch with the Canucks... it's anybody's game, but I think the upstart (and undefeated) USA can put them in their places! Game's tomorrow around noon. Good way to end the swapmeet don't ya think??

Bring on the Finns!

Yep, the US team took another win today vs. Switzerland in hockey at the olympics. That makes us the top seed headed into the semi-finals against Finland. I'm not getting too excited, but this is a good run so far!

Hiller and Miller... Miller won, but Hiller's a duck, so that's ok with me.

I don't know about you...

But I'm stoked on the US play in the olympics! Haven't watched a ton of hockey this year... you know, having no television makes that tough... but I still keep up and think (hope) the USA can put it to the world this time around! They sent the home team packin' in the last game and now have a quarterfinal game against Switzerland today. Let's keep the home team pride swelling and root for the boys whether you know the difference between puck and fuck or not.
