New stuff is always good... right?

Ha! Yeah, impulse strikes again and I scored an old '62 Pan motor and a rolling chassis over the weekend. First bad sign was going to Kutty's "yard sale" on Saturday morning... It should have been called "Kutty's good way to take all your money" party... you know, lure you in with donuts and then when you least expect it, says "hey, you know... that frame over there would make a good project"... ouch!

Yeah, well, long story short, I make a call that afternoon to find out that my buddy isn't going to buy the pan motor he found, and that I have the clearance to dive in... so I do and go look at it that night. Good score. All there. No cracks. Less money in the bank now. Call Kutty up and give him what's left for the roller. Custom frame... 46rake... long-ass front end. Perfect. Now I'm off to sell my soul or body or whatever I can to pay for it all and make sure I can eat next week. I'm taking donations if you feel giving during the holidays!

Weekend photo goodness...

Here are some shots from the weekend... get more up as I can. Took a shit-load! Good times were had, Mooneyes makes me remember why I hate getting up so early, but was fun anyhow... just shot photos and watched some drag racing. Good friends, good times. Mann art show / Chopperfest was a good time as well, met up with an old friend I hadn't seen for a while and met some of the guys whose blogs I follow... and got my freakin' air cleaner from Gabe at After Hours Choppers finally! Hooked me up with a cool set of risers too... maybe I'll get my ass up and actually put 'em on sometime soon...

Sick Simply Sucks!

Yeah, been sick over this last weekend and am just now shaking it off I hope...

Had to miss the LB swap, a couple of ride opportunities and some goin' out type things that looked really good! Oh well, bed is a comfortable place to be... as long as I'm not hacking up too much multi-colored lung stuff! Yum...

I been boring... no work on the bike, although some parts showed up and I have them laid out waiting... maybe we'll see that headlight take shape this week if I get some time...

I really need a neighborly kick in the ass from time to time... If you're ever in OC and have a minute to spare... ha!
